Give it Up, Turn it Loose: A Woman’s Journey from Dominion to Deliverance released on March 9th, 2012. This was a very special and rather emotional day for me as it would have been my late mother’s 82nd birthday. My mom left this earth to join our Heavenly Father on August 20th, 2010.

She knew that I was about to become a self-published author and was ready to share my testimony with the world. In fact, she was my biggest encourager until the day the Lord called her home. I know she is smiling down on me!

Since the March 9th release date, Give it Up, Turn it Loose has touched the hearts of over 200 women across the country. Check out how women are being blessed by my testimony HERE.

The book release launched with the Imagine ME, Being FREE: An Intimate Evening with the Author teleconference, with over 40 women listening in as I shared my intimate testimony, read an excerpt from my book and listened as women shared their stories.

I was truly blessed to have the foreword writer of my book, Evangelist Rhonda White join us. She shared her testimony and prayed with and for us! It was an awesome time in the Lord. Because so many missed it, an ENCORE was held on March 23rd, with over 60 women listening and some joining for a second time!

As I begin to travel this journey to speak, sign books and to enjoy the fruits of my labor, I truly thank God for the vision and the provision. I know where my blessings come from and count them every day. I do not take anything for granted, because I know where he has brought me from. I am so glad he changed my heart and mind and prepared me for a time such as this!

Just a few weeks ago, my bank account was compromised. Someone did me the honor and went on an elaborate shopping spree on me. While I was able to work with the bank and YES, I did file a police report, this reminded me that there are so many people that are at risk for identity theft.

Now, I am not just referring to someone accessing your bank account, I am referring to your personal identity. My question to you is; are you at risk of someone stealing your identity?

Check your Identity against the following High Risk factors…

“Get in Where You Fit In”

You are easily influenced by the media, social media, television, music, gossip, political debates, etc.

WHAT IF… you turned the television off and get off Facebook and get into THE BOOK, learned the word of God and applied it into your life. Trust me when I tell you, the word works, if you are diligent and keep applying it.

“Role-ing down the River”

You allow what you do to define who you are. If someone were to ask you, who you are, you respond by telling them what that you are a teacher, preacher, lawyer, wife, mother, you get the picture.

WHAT IF… you lose the responsibility of these roles, where would you be, who would you be? We see it all of the time with the high unemployment rate, divorce rate and our babies killing our babies. We see preachers, teachers and lawyers falling every day.

“Stuck on Stupid”

You succumb to the way things used to be. You feel there is no need to change because “it has always been this way.”

WHAT IF…you embraced change and actually did something different, as opposed to resisting change because you are living in fear that it won’t work OR that it might actually work?

“Simon Says”

You allow yourself to be defined by the opinions of others or you allow them to control how you feel, what you do and how you do it.

WHAT IF…you let go of the people who are not producing any positive fruit in your life, helping you to unlock your potential and unleash your purpose?

“I Was, Therefore, I Am”

You think that just because you came from a broken family, failed marriage, abusive situtation, you are not capable or worhy of doing and becoming all that you can be.

WHAT IF… you let go of the past and forgive those who have offended you. You are not hurting them, you are only hurting you! Better yet, let go of what you cannot change and work on what you can…YOU!

All of these are high risks and make you vulnerable to identity theft. There is only one identity proof plan and that is to know who you are in Christ. There was a time in my life, when I was at an alarming high risk rate of identity theft. Because I didn’t know who I was or whose I was, I was vulnerable to insecurities, fear, procrastination and living through the eyes and vision of others. In fact, I almost lost my life until I discovered my identity in Christ. Don’t lose your life, instead, CHOOSE life!

There are many times that we want to allow people, things and stuff to enter our hearts, minds and spirit. The problem is we often don’t know when to close the door on the people, things and stuff that are not adding value to our lives.

Everything that is to be born of this earth, is so because of a woman. Satan is opposed to life as he comes to steal our potential, kill our purpose and destroy our destiny. We have the power to CLOSE the DOOR! See he can only enter when there is a gateway. That gateway is not knowing who we are in Christ. Our gateway is not understanding that we deserve the best and nothing but God’s best.

We have to be careful who we allow to enter our hearts, mind and spirit. Satan is waiting at the door of our hearts and mind and if he can get in, he will be successful at this attempt to steal, kill and to destroy what God is trying to manifest in our lives. We need to CLOSE the DOOR to all negativity, doubt, fear, jealousy, envy, lies, and anything OR anyone that tries to enter our gateway.

Guard your heart, mind and soul with your life! Don’t let satan have a field day at your expense. Just as you would check the premises when you enter into your home, check the premises around your heart, mind and spirit. If there is anything or anyone that is lurking like a lion ready to devour, CLOSE the DOOR…NO, SLAM THE DOOR, YOU HAVE THE POWER..Your life depends on it!

Today during our Sisters Praying with Sisters prayer call, I shared a scripture relative to focusing on the goal. I had been meditating on this scripture for quite some time now. Philippians 4:12-14, reads: “I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.”

Allow me to break this down for you…often times when we hear, “focus on the goal” it is referring to tasks, objectives and a “to do” list. While in the natural this is true and very necessary; as Christians, our goal is to focus on Christ. Paul was a great example of his decision to focus on Christ and to be more like Christ.

Far too many women easily lose focus because of fleshy desires, wants or “needs.” You don’t have to admit it, I will just speak for myself. I allowed myself to lose focus when He gave me the vision for my business and ministry. He revealed one direction for me and I took off on another. It caused me nothing but frustration, loss of finances and left feeling foolish!  I lost my faith and focus on the one who provided the foundation and that was God!

The fact of the matter is until we choose to put our focus on the things of God, nothing else is going to work, and I mean NOTHING. We are not successful in our own strength. We just are not. We must not allow anything to deter, discourage, or distract us from the things of God, that includes in our personal lives, families, businesses/careers, or relationships.

I am elated to say that I am back on track and my focus is definitely on Christ. It doesn’t matter what “they” say or what “they” think, and it certainly doesn’t matter if “they” do not understand. What does matter is that I am not looking back…I am keeping my eyes on the prize toward the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  I am so loving the revelation and the manifestation!

I am so delighted you took the time to visit! This is where I virtually live and you can learn about about who I am and what I do by visiting me here!

I will share with you that I AM a child of God with a servant’s heart! I gave my life to Christ over 10 years ago, and my life has truly never been the same. I have learned that being a child of God DOES NOT exempt you from the challenges and trials of the world, after all we still live in it. I HAVE learned that while we live in it, we do not have to conform to it (Romans 12:2).

God revealed to me His plan for me several years ago, and I have to admit, I was not ready, at least not emotionally, mentally, or spiritually, and did not feel I was fully equipped. It was by His grace, mercy, power, might and my consistent study in His word, that I learned His plan for me was to prosper me and to prepare me for my destiny (Jeremiah 29:11). He soon revealed to me that it was not my ability, rather my availability and willingness to serve Him that He mandated me in this season of my life for such a time as this! He made the provision for the vision that He has given me and I humbly THANK HIM for choosing me!

Through coaching, mentoring, speaking, writing or fellowship, it has become my life’s vision and purpose to EMPOWER women to seek the will of God, INSPIRE women with the love of God and TRANSFORM the hearts and minds of women with the word of God! I have become the Christian’s Woman’s coach & mentor and I take my role VERY seriously. I do NOT play when it comes to being ABOUT MY FATHER’S BUSINESS!!!

TODAY, I present to you, a woman consistently changing & transforming into my preordained destiny!
